hi Rossana, just read your entry and could relate v strongly. Infact if you had not signed your name to it i could have mistakenly thought that i had written it. its sad to think that we have become so used to failing that when or if we do ever succeed it is all to easy to shrug it off with self statments like, 'oh, it was just a fluke' or 'my lecturer must be a leaniant marker'. Success seems far to forign to accept. I am 28years old and was only diagnosed 8 months ago. I guess i got to a point were i thought something must be wrong with me, i cant be THAT stupid and be in third year psychology. As im sure you know, things do start to improve after diagnosis but it is a slow and frustrating journey. i have decided to go for counselling in the hope that i can dispel the negative cognitions that have scard me for many years. perhaps this is something that could help you. all the v best, lou
