Hello my name is Adrienne McCambry and I am a Dyslexic shcolar and have the same isuues with math espsicaly reading I am attend a two year college and hope to transfer to a University and from there Law school. My major is in Computer Scinece and Econmics the answer to your question is about the math and it is plauge for anyone who has problems with the subject since everything at this day and age is math based! have you checked with the College's policy on having the math requirement waved? Most Universities and Colleges with wave some of the required subjects which require math. Also your daugther should have talk to the person who is in charge of the Disabled student services about this matter normally a Dyslexic student is given 3 chances to take any subject such as math over again. If she is having a hard time with Stats there should be another course that can be used as a subsitute course also we all know that the people in finacial aide will pull the plug on ones money due to low grades. Normal they will work with Dyslexic students and help them by extending there monies or try not to cut off funding. The two of you need to go down there and talk to them about this and also talk to the people at the Disabled Students Services about replacing the math class with another one.
