Hi,

My best friend is majoring in Business Administration, and he can't pass his statistics and accounting classes. He's taken these courses repeatedly because he keeps failing them. He has tutors, and usually understand the homework very well, but then he completely fails the tests, sometimes only answering about a third of the questions. He knows the material, but he just has trouble with testing, reasoning through questions and figuring out what they ask. He's a junior, and at this point I think he has settled on giving up because of the difficuty. He claims that he's not a "numbers person," but I think there's more to it. I've been doing a lot of research and I think he might be dyslexic. I'm not sure how to approach him about this, or what help is available for him. Any suggestions?

Stephanie
