im in the exact same position as you,i am also in 3rd year psych and about to begin a stats unit. like you numbers mean nothing to me. when you tell people and lecturers that you have a disorder that effects your maths ability they are all to ready to shrug it of and say " everyone has trouble". they just dont get it! im getting a dyslexia tutor for my stats unit and im going to try using playdough to help me learn the stupid symbls. Ron Davis talks about this in his book "the gift of dyslexia". if you need to talk more dont hesitate. i completely understand.
