Hi, im 18 and go to college (UK, im not at Uni yet) and im studying for my a-levels. I had a Dyslexia test during yr 10, about 2 years ago, and another more recently and both said i was mildly dyslexic. I have no problems with spelling and i can write reasonably well if speed is not important, but i find trouble with essay writing (i gave up a subject because i had no idea how i could pass it - large exam essays/time) and other things. But what bothers me most is that i cant seem to get down to work, im so easily distracted and i cant focus for more than 10 minutes. I cant piece things together and then i get stressed and have to read pages over and over again, and sometimes i still get nowhere. Does anyone have advice for this or how to deal with it?
One more thing, i would like to know if can we get grades as good as other students. and one last thing... i have trouble remembering things, does anyone know how i can get round that.
