When you sit down to study make sure that you are in a quite room ie: no t.v, radio, other people, ect. Also dont expect to be able to study for hours on end without a break as this can stress you more which will mean that you will retain less of the information. Try chuncking your study sessions. By this i mean, study for no longer than aroud half an hour at a time. after each half hour take a short break, do something that you find relaxing and then come back to your studys and do another half hour and then take another break. You might find that half an hour is too long for you. if this is the case reduce the time to suit your needs. I know this sounds like a big time waister but the more stressed you are the less you will retain and it will be harder to consentrait. Try to do something that you find relaxing before you start a study session.
