hi
does any one have links on lack of any early reading and dyslexia?
I have dyslexia. I have had no special help. growing up I only read what I had to very little.
and now I am able to read the bible with the same understanding and speed as green eggs and ham.
I tend to focus on the text and not the story(not a good thing) when I try not to sound out loud each word in my head and just focus on the story I can't do it for more then 30 seconds allthuo I read the page at a rate 10 times it gives me a killer headack
its alot eaiser to do it with books that are at a second grade level I am wondering before I take the time to Fill myself in on all the kid books I never read. as to focus on the story not on the words and develep that pattern in my brain will it help me at all?
