Winter and Autumn were once good brothers
Autumn tried so hard to keep everything alive
And all through Winter's reign he tried not to cry
But Winter just laughed and cared not of their hurt
Buried them in snow and their faces in frozen dirt
Autumn felt grave about what he had done
Fell into Winter's authority and had so-called fun
Mixed feelings were felt as he weakened the trees
Then Winter came along with his terrible freeze
Winter and Autumn were once good brothers
One corrupt, decietful, and too influential
The other quite unsure of his potential
Everything in order turned to disarray
And Autumn felt all his good give-way
All of his beauty just died in the breeze
Cold wind pushed him down upon his knees
Forced to bow to his brother as his slave
As much as he wished it, he had never been brave
Autumn's spirit died as his brother grew stronger
But one day he fell hard and ruled no longer
Spring came 'round and felt it was time
To right all of the wrongs of this infamous crime
Using all of the love she could muster
She returned every plant to its original lustre
Winter and Autumn were once good brothers
Until one day the link between them became mangled
Now they will not speak unless enabled
I suppose they're both better now that they've split
Autumn will never have to kneel and submit
Winter is the only one at loss
Cause he's no longer Autumn's boss
Things will eventually even out
Because Winter will buckle to Spring, no doubt
Summer will come, Autumn too
This cycle cannot stop and will continue
So in the end it will evolve to our needs
Even if Autumn falls and bleeds
Winter and Autumn were once good brothers
But that was once, a long time ago
Mistrust is all that Autumn will know
