A little bird on a drizzly day
Was trilling a tune through hill and lay
So I asked him, "Sir, its stormy, pray
Why are you so happy?"

He smiled at me and cocked his head
"The flow'rs in the feild would soon be dead
If its sunny every day, so I'll sing instead
That the flowers will soon be happy!"
