Perilous hares serve in your ground, A great bell* there makes a mighty sound, O Salamandastron, A great mighty fortress, O Salamandastron, A place of strong and weak, O Salamandastron, You are what I seek. *Note- In 'Mariel of Redwall' Joseph the Bellmaker makes a bell for Lord Rawnblade, which is the bell I am referring to in the poem.
