These are some poems I wrote to my friend in a email. We love Redwall, so we write poems. These are truly my own work and I did NOT copy from anyone else.
O Salamandastron,
A great mighty fortress,
O Salamandastron,
A place of great and true,
O Salamandastron,
How I long for you.
Perilous hares serve in your ground,
A great bell* there makes a mighty sound,
O Salamandastron,
A great mighty fortress,
O Salamandastron,
A place of strong and weak,
O Salamandastron,
You are what I seek.
*Note- In 'Mariel of Redwall' Joseph the Bellmaker makes a bell for Lord Rawnblade, which is the bell I am referring to in the poem.
Redwall, Redwall,
A place of peace and love,
Redwall, Redwall,
Kind creatures and good food,
Redwall, Redwall,
A dwelling of safety and care,
Redwall, Redwall,
Always in a happy mood.
Redwall, Redwall,
Abbesses and Abbots live in friendship,
Redwall, Redwall,
A resting place to travellors on a trip,
Redwall, Redwall,
The kindness is never few,
Redwall, Redwall,
With good friends, strong and true.
