The midnight elder trouble

Swaying in the breeze
are the trees

We dibbuns should be sleeping
Instead we are holding parties
In the middle of the night

The elders are in the kitchens
stealing the abbots food
From his favourite cubards

Alas mother Mellus has caught all the ewlders and the midnight feast
She gives them over to
only elder that was slepping
apart from the abbot
The dreaded infirmary sister

Help us dibbuns please
To late cried ma mellus
they are eating sweet food at a party
Hurry sister the nettle broth will have cooled by now
They bathed the elders and fed them nettle broth

Swaying in the breeze
are the rustling trees
But what goes on in the abbey
Is rather funny
