People today are so messed up
They crave for more, more, more
More money, more power, more everything
But they are wrong in their quests
For the most precious of treasures
Isn't a ruby, diamond, or sapphire
Not even a scrap of gold or silver
Can ever measure up to it
A treasure even the richest lack
A treasure everyone hungers for
My heart, my whole body, my soul
Aches to have it for my own
Fairy tales speak of it so lightly
Yet so little of us own it
People are miserable without it
And sometimes whilst in it
But we can never get enough
It's love
