One day four dibbuns from redwall creaped,
Think of the fame they might reap,
They coiled at the thoughts of baths in a tub,
They boiled as they thought of nettle soup to chug,
A mole, a hare, and squirrels two,
All brave companians, stalwart and true,
They ran as fast a they possibly could,
At the sound of a booming voice,
They kept it up until,
The small squirrel maid fell, not by choice,
They put her under a great big tree 'till she rose again rejoice!
They carried on until at last the Badger mum wouldn't let them pass.

Their was a voilent chilling yell from the beast upon the stair,
It said it was a ghost,
Not a real creature fair,
I valeintly quivered with fear,
As I marched up to the stair,
I pulled the cloak offa that beast and cried out in despair,
It's Lettuceleaf the hungry hare!
