Both squirrels rose several hours later to start preparing to leave.Busytail made refrences to her maps and Bronzia read up on forges.At about noon they ate a simple lunch of fruit and nuts they had brought with them."Either she's still where she was when we left or-",Bronzia finished the sentence Bushytail had begone only in a softer tone,"she's at Salamandastron."
They had guessed this because of her love of weapons.She made them and used them with skill and ease.Sometimes she made things look overly simple when they weren't.Other times she did the exact opposite like causing a sling to look complex.Where ever she was she'd be singing and humming as usual.Probably nothing to do with her nieces these days but perhaps they would come up.
"We shall go to Salamandastron first because it is closer"Bushytail informed unnessisarily."Even I know that"was Bronzia reply.Bushytail just rolled up the maps and stuffed them into her knapsack.Bronzia did the same to her lists,schedules,and information.Some of it belonged to her others were given or found."Just saying ok.No need for you to be so mad for once.Can you just calm down,it would help,I hope we don't end up fighting all the way to where ever our aunt may be."
Bronzia nodded as they left their treehouse."No,more fighting until we get back to Redwall again how boring.Oh,well there's always a price to pay.On absolutely everything pratically that's an awful hard lesson to learn.Is there anything intresting we can do?"Bushytail didn't bother answering. To her the less she spoke the better.Bronzia decided to do the same unless she neeed to speak that she would keep quiet.
Bronzia shifted her knapsack's weight so it leaned to the right.Bushytail was toying with her bandana.Both were bored though neither wanted to speak.Bronzia kept shoving her knapsack further over torwards the right to deal with her weaker left shoulder.The diffence in the two was actually visable,the right easily supported weight,but the left looked limp,letting her arm just sort of hang there.Bronzia hated weakness it made her angry at herself for it.She had no other beast to blame so it was her fault.That's at least what she believed,for now.
As the day went on it dug deeper into her shoulder like a pack instead of a simple knapsck.She winced and nearly cried out when the weight moved again.She stared down at her footpaws not paying any attention to anything though.She suddenly stumbled and tripped falling down and getting dusty.She calmly pulled herself back up and started on again.There was no need to declare defeat had won yet she believed.That only would happen if she was dead and in the Darkforest.Otherwise she'd keep it up whenever possible for a long as she could.She fought for everything she believed in no matter the cost that was who she was.A quiet but tough squirrelmaid who was usually a loner for the most part.That reminded her of her aunt.She was so much like her maybe a lot like her in so many ways.
