>>Yeah, its called tyranny.
>
>So, God is a tyrant? By whose standards?
The dictionary standards.
>Instead of trying to conform God to your standards, try accepting
>the fact that his supreme intelligence may result in
>things that your limited intelligence cannot
>understand, such as death and suffering.
What fact? You've yet to present any, so far its all claims for what appears to be a god of gaps to give death and suffering meaning.
>
>God invented space, time, and matter. It is the realm
>in which he created for mankind.
And Santa travels to everyones house and gives them gifts.
More claims disguised as "facts".
>People ask "So where did God come from? What existed
>before God?" That's because man is ignorantly limited
>to thinking in the realm of space, time, and matter.
He came from the Bible, and judaism.
>Just knowing that your creator is so far beyond the
>scope of your intelligence should give you some
>feeling of humbleness.
People in the middle ages knew the earth was the center of the universe, and the stars nothing more than tiny dots.
>The Bible is the word of God. If you want to know
>him, and if you want your eyes to be opened like
>they've never been before, you must read and absorb
>the word of God.
If creationism and lying is the result, the ignorance is still there.
>The Holy Spirit took a diehard skeptic and
>evolutionist (me) and turned him 180 degrees into a
>follow of Christ.
Did you actually research into evolution, or just believed it?
>What led to my change was that as
>someone with a scientific mind, it was always open to
>ideas.
Creation in 7 days isn't even science, you must have a different definition of scientific.
>I learned about God with an open mind, and the
>more knowledge I received, the more my eyes were
>opened to the Lord. This is the Holy Spirit at work.
>This is what I pray for all skeptics to experience.
You're praying in vain, once I saw the real world, I cast the fairytales away.
>>Nah. Humanity thankfully escaped the dark ages,
>>no reason to go back.
>
>God did not cause the Dark Ages. Man did.
Yes man did, the authors of the bible.
Science has come along way in understanding the universe and helping people, but some people rather it was more mysterious and magical, and can't seem let go of their beliefs.
