Hello sweetie sisters!

I'm sorry again that I took so long to post but I don't feel so bad this time, being as you both were in the shower for something like a week and a half! You must have run out of hot water several times.

It's so super nifty to hear all about your trip. I hope you are taking lots of great pictures to show us and to show your nephew in the future. I hear that Mom and Dad got to see you wave on the webcam, and I am sorry I missed seing that. It must have been cool! I also wish I had been here to get your call the other day. Please try again! I miss you guys so much.

I've been living a pretty wild life lately... on Sunday I went to a wonderful German film film called Nowhere in Africa. Sheila actually took me while Dave and Lydia babysat Liam for us. I really enjoyed it! Then two days ago I walked Liam over to Wendy's and had a salad. Am I wild or what? Then, the craziness continued today when I went to see X-men 2 with Lerato. (I enjoyed that a lot too, despite the fact that I felt the ending was kind of silly... but I won't give anything away 'cause I still think it's worth seeing. It's funny seeing "Gandalf" play the bad guy.) And today I am going to see a play courtesy of Grandma and Grampa, and mom is going to take care of our little monkey.

I hope social services doesn't take issue with me being such a party animal.

Liam is getting cuter all the time... I know it's hard to beleive but somehow it's true. You guys are going to have soooooo much fun with him when you get home. Let's see, what's new with him... He hasn't really hit any of the big landmarks lately, but he just gets more and more interactive all the time. He loves to grab anything and everything he can reach and see if it will fit in his mouth, and play games like peek-a-boo and bounce the baby. He likes to hear songs and rhymes, to read books with me, and to play his little baby piano toy that I got him. He can't quite sit up on his own yet, but he is trying. He also gets frustrated and yells when he turns over to his tummy because he really wants to crawl but he just can't do it yet!

I have started feeding him some rice cereal. He didn't like it at first when I was making it with water, but now I make it with breast milk and he seems to like it better. It's really hard to tell whether any is actually getting in his mouth, what with all the cereal drippling down his chin and splattering on his chair. And of course he has to grab for the spoon and smear the cereal all over whenever he can. And he has one heck of a firm grip when he wants to! It's actually lots of fun for both of us.

He's also getting so big that he's really outgrown his baby tub. I've started giving him baths in the big tub using his "Bath-Eze" to hold him up. He likes it better because he has so much room to splash.

I have a few things to look forward to later this month... Mother's day (I wonder what Liam will get me? I bet he'll make something special in his diaper for me!), and Dad's birthday, and of course the Coldplay concert in Vancouver on the 23rd. So all in all, life's pretty good.

I'm glad you guys are having such a good time, but I can't wait till you get home and can share all your adventures with us in person! Then my happiness will be complete.

Liam says "love you, aunties" in babyspeak, and gives you both smiles and giggles.

Take 'er easy mates,
Erin
XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO
