Teamplayer!Michael makes a lot of sense. I hadn't really thought about him in that way - my pre-canon!Michael has always been something of an idealist who was later disillusioned to the point where he couldn't believe in *anything* that strongly anymore. But this one makes sense too - he joined Rene and co. because he needed something to help *him* channel his anger, not to save the world. I need to think more on this. Hmm.
