paritally because it sends up the ridiculous plot contrivences of the whole MMWK arc, partially because it pokes gentle fun at some of the extreme angst versions of fanfic!Michael, and most because I was a huge fan of "Lois and Clark" and also of Lane Davies back when he was Mason on "Santa Barbara" and so the "Tempus Fugit" episode of L&C was one of my favorites. *g*

So much to love for me in this story!

Nikita's light-heartedness and romantic optimism were the key features which led me to this assessment.

Yes - I think you've put your finger on it. Alyssandra doesn't whitewash Section - it isn't a happy place or a nice one, but Nikita, despite her toughness, is still pretty open in these stories.

Even re-watching S1 and S2, now, I have trouble remembering that - because I know all too well what the future holds, even if no one (and I do mean *no one*! LOL!) knew that at the time.
