tjm - I missed this post from yesterday...I skimmed the article..

Indeed... China (& Japan) setting up their (energy) future for the next generation or two all over the world... Canada, Brazil, Venezuela, Sudan, Russia... by investing billions for infrastructure and general economic aid... gotta do something with all those greenbacks Americans are forklifting over there as they cash in the house equity, charge their cards and find their Denali's and Escalades in the Walmart & Costco parking lots.

I took some time to look into solar a couple of months ago... do you guys have any? Are you looking into it? I'm guessing you know folks who do...N. New Mex. being the independent rough & tumble place of legend. I keep hoping to wake up to hear a national energy policy that includes support/breaks for millions of Americans to go solar... thereby spurring bigtime financial interests/competition/innovation... moer energy efficiency across the board. Our current Kwh usage is anywhere from 12-14 day/month (can't remember off hand)... I think a basic set up gets you close to 3 kwh. What about wind energy out where you are?
