does any body remember millwood school or anybody who went there what about the shops in alderwood avenue i dont know what the first shop was the 2nd was marshals the grocer 2nd the chippy 3rd fruit shop dont know the next one then cousins was the post office next then the chemist clouths shop there was the butchers next to the fruit shop,what were the other shops doe anyone know anybody who lived in greenway rd these are the people i remember the bennets the porters the edwards smiths wilsons hayes the seagents the jones the armed family ray armed and johny good mates the costello i would love to see old photo,s o greenway rd 50s to 70s thanks for the memories of speke and its still great ive lived here from 1956 i was 2 then i am still here does anyone remember kathy fisher who went to millwood school anyone who went there from1959 to 1970

hi there was a library then the old n new shop marshels chippy butchers fruit n veg cake shop sweetshop chemist barbers woolshop changlers shoe shop offy laundrett bike shop had some great memories hanging round the shops and the saucer of a night

Hi Sam. Yes I remember the shops in Alderwood. Me Jhon Sharp helped the workmen.We lived in the flats opposite.We were only nine. Great days in Speke then. Know Dennis Wilson. Harry Bennet

i used to deliver milk in greenway road, with a bloke called Andy in the early seventys. we would do all roads in that area as well as alderfield school. in greenway road flats there was an old lady who used to make her own fudge, and would give a bag to me and andy, every sat/morning, bit wary at first but that fudge tasted good even at 8am in the morning,happy days BAZ HESKETH.
