Subject: Crappy week.

Tranny went out on my car....again! Frick. I should still be under warranty.
My computer died. Finally. So I need to build a new one. I currently have...a mouse, a case, (assuming I can use the same one) a keyboard, a monitor, a Networking card, and of course...that handy dandy hard drive I just bought. So....using those things...what else do I need to build a computer?

A motherboard
A CD/DVD drive
Memory
CPU
...and a video card

So...any suggestions?

P.S. Crappiest week ever.

Well, I guess it depends on what you want to spend. New Egg has some good deals, I just ordered a DVD burner and 160gb drive from them. Generalnanosystems.com has upgrade packages where you can get the motherboard and CPU for a decent price. For CDROM and DVD if you don't mind some off brands you can get them from compgeeks.com for like $20 or so they also have MB CPU combos.
Or just go to walmart and buy their HP for $350 I've never looked at them really but I think they have some P4's
Did your Ram and video card go out on there to? Maybe it was just the Motherboard???

Mike

B.) I want a new Motherboard, CPU, CD ROM Drive,
C.) I don't know what to get...I don't know what kind of memory to get based off the motherboard I get...or whatever.
