Subject: funny "patch"

hey yeah...i saw a rather amusing "patch" on a backpack the other day. especially funny for anyone that enjoys emo and the like. it read "cheer up emo boy". i thought it was rather clever.

also i saw a poster today that says "the return of the kingdom". it is some kind of seminar thing. in a few seconds i realized that it was supposed to be a pun off of the popular "return of the king". i suddenly lost all respect that i had for it and decided to try not to look at the poster anymore while i walked by.

i saw a comercial for pepsi and itunes. (quick trival fact: itunes was downloaded over 1 million times on the day it was released for windows) it said that pepsi will be giving away 100 million free songs from the itunes music store. itunes already has 71% of the market share for legal downloads ($1.00 a song). it is quite cool. i haven't personally bought any, but it is really cool that they will be giving away so many free ones. time to buy some pepsi bottles. itunes rules!!!

Not to sound cynical, or you know, hint that I'm better than you (I mean this seriously) but yeah, totally saw that patch a year ago. I guess it just proves that everything "cool" reaches Bethel behind schedule. Just foolin' again, your school is awesome and we all know it.
