Subject: The Truth About Janzow...

I was bored this afternoon, so I decided to take a look at some old posts on the forum. I found one that I had written almost a year ago pertaining to an expedition to Concordia-Seward. I don't know what I was thinking, but for some reason, I wrote, "I'll probably get fat if I go to that school because they have the best food in the world." Its a good thing that I'm not so shallow to back out of a college because of food, but 9 times out of 10, its something I don't like. The sad thing is that the lunches here are usually spectacular, but the dinners are usually the poorest excuses for a meal I've ever seen. I can remember disliking the food at UMD, but at least there were about ten different things to choose from. Here there are three and I usually only eat half or 1/4 of what ends up on my plate. I wonder if the food at River Falls is better than our most unbeloved Janzow...

Hey Marty,

The food down here is pretty good, it's way better than high school and on some nights it's great. I really can't complain. I assume the food here is about as good as it is anywhere else.

Consider yourself very fortunate. Maybe tonight I will be dining in Lincoln with some friends, a much needed respite from the accursed food of a private college.

Marty, it's the same here. Lunch is usually really good and dinner is usually poor. There are just a lot of options for lunch and far less options for dinner. At least there is almost always pizza. The pizza here is awesome, everything is almost perfect about it.
