The reason the PTO's sponsor a Candidates Night is because they wanted to introduce the candidates to the whole community at the same time sharing the same issues. Candidates are told when they take papers that soliciting for votes on town or school property is a no-no. I am disappointed with Mr. Maraganis' behavior. I would think that a candidates first priority with meeting parents is to hear their concerns and to see how a PTO functions rather than soliciting votes.
