Where DID I get three simple rules? Beats me--sorry. I don't think it lets you off on a technicality however.

By pointing out your violation of your own rules, I was not attempting to defend Frank's insulting, personal attacks or character assassinations of you, or anyone else for that matter, on his forum; his actions are indefensible. And the fact that it IS anonymous is what makes it all the more frustrating and infuriating, I agree. But everyone who reads DAD knows its genre; cheap, unsubstantiated, anonymous, sensational fiction, meant to incite. It's expected when you log on--sort of like a forum tabloid. It doesn't make it right, not by a long shot, but there it is.

My "righteous indignation" (really, too strong a term for how I felt) comes from my disappointment with your stooping to that tabloid level. WRT is better than that. And I believe it can continue to be, if everyone just follows your "FOUR Simple Rules".
