I assume you mean for holding the Town Meeting -- or how long it can last? (There are other time limits having to do with reconsideration and petitions to negate a result.)

I asked the Town Manager about our bylaws, and I'm pretty familiar with Town Meeting Time -- which is the controlling literature for this state. Neither of us is familiar with a session being subject to a maximum duration or a specific time of day or night.

Of course the control of this is in the hands of the assembly though either a "quorum count" motion or a motion to recess or adjourn. Each of these takes highest precedence -- over whatever else is happening at the time. A quorum count request must be honored without a vote, and if there is no longer a quorum, then the moderator must set a new time to reconvene. If a motion is made to adjourn, there must be an immediate vote (without debate!) and a simple majority adjourns or recesses the meeting.

Once a meeting is started, it must take up all the business before it can be finally adjourned. It can be recessed or continued until a subsequent time if it gets too late, or if a quorum is lost. In that case, it's all considered the same meeting.
