Donna,

Considering today�s budget woes through out the state, and how city and towns are doing everything in their power to trim the cap, 45K is a helping hand. Basically going after the things that really can be done away with is something every city and town is looking at.

As far as sending a message that something is wrong with the school system, I would say no. If you want to say that, then just go out on a limb and say it about every town. The message that is more received is one that clearly identifies that we have a majority that wish to follow certain areas in the process of educating their children. They made a choice to do so, and have the financial power to meet their wishes. If they didn�t, then their children would very well be in the Dracut school system.

If your worried about 400 plus kids flooding our school system, then you should be concentrating on the fact that our town is being raped by greedy builders that are taking advantage of the 40B law. The strain on public services is going to get worse before it gets better.
