I am in full agreement with the opinion of Karen M D.
I agree that the public school activities should be limited to the children who attend the public schools. Those who chose to home school their children should be responsible for their activities. The children in the public school system should not have to compete with children out of the system.
I, like many others, devote a great deal of time to our schools. My family is committed to our school community. My husband and I stress to our children the importance of being committed to our schools and supporting the activities. I would be very upset to see any of our DPS students have to miss opportunities to accommodate home schooled children.
