 It seems to me that in talking about the mind we must use great discernment, for we can see the mind in at least two ways.

There is the mind that usurped the Queen, that tried to run the kingdom without the ability to do so. This is the mind that is tied to and limited by the idea of duality. This is the mind that jabbers, that institutes knee jerk reactions, the dear old mind we've always known and identified with, prior to awakening.

But then...the Queen awoke and with her another aspect of what might also be called Mind. The Mind of the Queen is not limited to the either/or world. Conscious discrimination and observation are it's forte. This Mind speaks from the heart and from an unlimited perspective.

So, it appears to me that we are talking about the mind and the Mind as the same thing. Let us discriminate here. The mind has no way to understand the Mystery, but the Mind lives in it, penetrates it and even speaks from it. I feel that we must honor this Mind and that we must also honor the mind that held the fort all these many years and generations while the Queen slept.

And so while neither aspect of mind can be made lesser, we do need to do some discernment here. The limited mind which may still believe that it is in charge, needs to be seen in a discriminative way. This process unfolds naturally in the second birth and is a huge aspect of the Shakedown along with greenlighting everything in sight.

So here we hold a paradox. While greenlighting the mind we also use our Mind to discern it's ways and it's presumptions, to hear its jabberings. Not either/or but both at once.

Sometimes in so doing the mind goes quiet and we are left in a vast mystery with an awestruck Mind. This is what happened to me in a conversation with Ben on this forum last February. I also honor those who KNOW in their hearts that the Mind in both its aspects (for the Mind holds and includes the mind) can not be dismissed in any way. Yes, this too.
