It's hard, for me anyway, to address people I don't know. I know some of you but there's a lot of new you's now. I am pretty sure that you're all incredible and wondrous people, so WHY am I shy??? Don't know. Just am.

So let me get in here with my shyness and hopefully make room for anyone else who might be feeling the same way. It would seem to me that if you were new to the forum it would be even harder to just jump right on in. Is it?

Maybe we need to get to know each other better. Let me introduce myself. I live in near Portland, Oregon, I'm 62 years old and I'm slightly fat around the middle. I was a seeker for much of my life, looking for a way to escape the painfulness of being here. When I heard that people were actually Awakening in Waking Down, I thought AHA, a way out! Little did I know. My second birth was devastating in a way because that's when I discovered that there IS no way out. Heck, there's no OUT out there! So here I am delving into all the pain, burrowing in it, rolling it up, cooking in it and loving every moment. As someone, was it Saniel, once said, I wouldn't trade it for ANYTHING. It's the most, the best, the weirdest, the wonderfullest show in town.

So what's YOUR story???
