I was watching a show earlier tonight on the history channel talking about the apocalypse, armageddon, the four horsemen, antichrists, anything relating. It was pretty interesting. And what's funny, is some of the descriptions describe george "dubya" bush. the sign of the end is told to begin with war in the middle east. He will win over his people with the false promise of peace, false hopes. He will try and unite all nations, and create a global currency, replacing all currency(though those havn't happend...yet?). He will succeed for 7 years, when which he will show his true form and challenge jesus christ for control of people and earth. At which time he will brand his people with the sign "666" on thier right hand or forehead. the marked people will then have to go after those who follow christ. So everybody, go grab a shotgun and a LOT of shells, stock up :D.
The mayan calander says the end will come on december 20th, 2012. Their calander btw is very correct. does it bring truth or is it one thing they will get wrong?
I think we will bring our own apocolypse on ourselves. within a century, they say the ocean level will be raised up to 30 feet, by then, for the U.S. boston all the way down to florida will be under water, and washington down to the end of california will be underwater. all of hawaii will be under, cuba, bahamas, all under water, the weather will be increased up to 30 degrees on the equator. And at the current rate of the population growth, by then there can be up to 9 billion people. 1 in 30 people will have some sort of disease, the deseases now will strengthen and will be more unstoppable than ever. think of the bubonic plague, and times it by 10. germs evolve too, and with all the antibiotics we are pumping into ourselves will raise the immunity of the diseases/viruses. A cure for viruses and deseases like aids, small pox, emphezema, pnamonia can be good and bad for us. If you cure the people hwo are illed, they will build up the population much faster because they will live longer than expected. there will be fewer death rates by viruses/diseases, and higher birth rates, which will raise the population growth, and the 9 billion mark will hit sooner than expected. Curing people will bring an end to ourselves even though we are saving lives. If the world as awhole doesn't stop the pollution and burning of fossil fuels, we'll reach the expectation date a lot sooner than predicted.
