I was told god put adam in an enviroment were he had the choice of chosing sin. Anywho since eating the apple or whatever it was passed on the knoweldge of what sin is then we should be able to avoid it even more so then being oblivious to it. I don't think sin is passed on through humanity. I think more like the jewish stance that it just means humans are naturally imperfect or as in symbolic in the adam and even story may hae a natural instinct to turn away from god but not that we are naturally born with sin on our shoulders. however, since he ate the apple we should be able to avoid sin since we know what it is. ADAM Wouldn't have been able to comprehend eating the apple was a sin until he did, which is why i don't agree with the theory of him being kicked out of eden
