Yes, he posted on the old "ex-occultists message board" that I used to have (of which this board is an expansion of). I think you may have posted on it a few times as I recall.

Jess used to post there and this was when I first became aware of him. He asked if I would put his testimony on the Spotlight site, but, even though it would have made an interesting addition to the testimonies page, I was disturbed by parts of it that did not seem to ring true.

Soon after, all the controversy came out about him and other researchers put together some challenges to him, outlining some of the discrepencies.

Anyone any idea what he is up to these days?

Stories like this damage the church because when they are proved wrong, critics doubt the testimonies of other ex- occultists and tar us all with the same brush.

A while back, I had someone implying that Ihad made my own testimony up and they sought to poke holes in it. Needless to say, because it is true, and I have nothing to hide, they could not succeed.

Jeff, have you had similar criticisms of your own testimony?

I think, as each of us is going to be releasing a book about our experiences, we will probably get a few more people implying that what we say isn't true. Bring it on I say!
