Your SK/SD site is great and something that is really needed!
As a suggestion you might add a thumbnail page for your Photo Gallery. A lot of large pictures can be very frustrating for us people with dial-up.

Have you put your site on the dmoz.org directories? I tried a search using "+safe +dog +kid" and "+safe +dogs +kids" your site didn't come up. Quite a few of the Search Engines use dmoz.org. Lots of links to your site on Google though!
