How To Post A Picture/Image Here

Finally, someone actually replied to my message. Gawd, I was beginning to think I was getting paranoid thinking that all of my classmates has abandoned me and that I was talking all alone to MYSELF.

(Yes people, the above remark was actually *sarcastic*.)

Thanks Audrey for bothering to react to my message. Won't say the same for some people. Hmmmphff. Did you realize that the number of views this page received has exceeded 2000? So how come I have less than 200 messages in total here? Sigh. You all ah, like to lurk around here but NEVER post any message. Like I said many MANY times before, your message need not meet very high standard. I do not demand essays here, but generally most messages follow a guideline of at *least* some crap. Ok, so you all get it clear? Post ANYTHING, for heavens' sake ~gack, cough~ or sake of my sanity.

Due to popular demand, I will accede to Audrey's request on how to post pictures here. Maybe then, more people will start posting messages and pictures around here.

Step 1 : Sign-up With A Free Webspace Server

I strongly recommend Strike9.com. Sign up for an account there. It's free, so don't expect too much webspace, only 2.0MB. This will be where your image resides on the World Wide Web. Once you are ready to login to your account, read Step 2.

Step 2 : Upload Your Images or Pictures

Try to figure this out on our own. Very lazy to type out the instructions. There's a "My Files" section somewhere there and upload your pictures there. Anyway, if you did the uploading correctly, there should be small version of your image there. Click on the image. Then a new page will open, showing your actual picture in its FULL GLORY.

Get it so far? Now MEMORISE the url of the image in the address bar.

LOL. Just kidding. Don't you ever wonder why people KEEP telling YOU their website address? www dot something something? Hello, you REALLY *think* I can remember? Ok ok stop backtracking...

Step 3: Understand HTML

Remember I was just kidding about the memorising. Just right click and copy the URL of your image. Don't PASTE yet!!!!! Open up another new page, go to Sec 4/3 Online Kampung. Click on post a new message.

Type this in the "Write Your Message Here" box.

Paste the url of the image in between the inverted commas. One more thing to note. Ok, more like a few things to note.

1) There is NO space between the < and img
2) There IS a space between img and src
3) There is NO space between src and = and "
4) There is NO space in between the inverted commas where immediately after the ",you are to paste the URL. Immediately at the end of the URL, put the closing inverted commas.
5) There is NO space between the closing inverted commas " and the >

The reason why I BROKE all the rules up there was so that you can actually SEE the html code above i.e the IMG SRC thingy.

Remember that the URL of most pictures/images must end with .jpeg OR a .gif extension.
