TKGS 50th Anniversary Celebrations

First of all let me say how excited I am to see so many posts... Thank you sooo much Fardy! Hope you all continue posting here... Remember all those emails we love to send out to each other? Keep em' coming right here instead!

ON a more serious note...here's more info on TKGS Golden Anniversary Celebrations..

TKGS's Gala Dinner & Dance

Date: Friday 5th Dec 2003
Venue: Swissotel The Stamford
Padang/ Collyer Ballrooms
7.30pm

Tickets: $68/person (for current and former TKGians)

I am very very excited about this event. As you know it happens like...ONLY ONCE IN 50 YEARS! The flyer I received highlighted that it is preferable that we book a whole table.. so I hope to get at least 9 other people interested..

Plus the prospect of a reunion with my fave classmates at a very posh ballroom just adds greater sentimental feelings..

I am just glad that TKGS is celebrating her 50th Anniversary in a very sensible manner.

A certain JC I know of tried to celebrate her 25th Anniversary with a 25-km run.

It was...tiring, needless to say.

Can you imagine TKGS trying to do the same with a lung-bursting and sweat-inducing event? Like a 50 km run to commemorate her Golden Jubilee?

Gawd... I can imagine the huffing and puffing. Sad reality is that not everybody is like our beloved Fatin, our mild-mannered Sports Captain. (who has incidentally has transformed to Relief Teacher Extrodinaire)

Fatin: Relief teacher by day, swashbuckling badminton player by night. Btw, you still play badminton right?

She probably does 50km runs as regularly as we wash our hair.
