But Bullock is right, guns have on primary function; to kill. That's what they were invented for, that's why we give them to the army

And you're forgetting about one thing; paint-ball guns. We Dutchies have them, they're legal for anyone over the age of 18 and paint-ball is a practiced sport here. And they can be used for target practice, if you want. Why in God's name would you use a LETHAL weapon to shoot at dead targets when you can just as well use a non-lethal weapon.

The primary function of the paint-ball gun and BB gun is sport and target practice, the primary function of any kind of hunting rifle is to kill animals, the primary function of handguns and army rifles (I don't have much gun knowledges on types, so I'm not naming any types) is to kill people.
