I think this all has a lot to do with games like "Rainbow Six" being so popular?

Think about it, if you are into that kind of a thing being in Iraq right now has got to be a lot of fun. Running around, playing commando, shooting bad guys, it's Quake for real. The thing is playing Rainbow Six is only fun when you are on the winning side. Being an Iraqi commando right about now has to suck. Where's the future in it?

I'm not discounting what our guys face (Gulf War Syndrome has to be on all our guy's minds), but it seems to me that for a professional soldier it really has to suck not being able to make war. How can you train and prepare for something all of your professional life and never get the chance to actually do it? Talk about frustrated impotence!
