Subject: Miss Kenosha

Congratulations to the Miss Kenosha Organization for putting together what appears to be an amazing competition on February 9th.They have 14 contestants, which is incredible; and a bundle of both in-kind scholarships and scholarships from the organization itself will be presented to the winner and runners-up. The auditorium which seats 960 people is completely sold out and through a People's Choice poll they raised over $4000.00!, which will also go back to the program and contestants in the form of scholarships. Plus the new Miss Kenosha will also receive a lot of great gifts from buninesses in the Kenosha community. I wish I wasn't so far away, as this should be a great competiton - and there is no clear-cut winner.
Despite all the chaos at the national level, it's great to see a local organization work hard to not only provide this great opportunity for so many first-time competitors, but also put on this great production for the Kenosha community.
Great job, Joya, and the other former Miss Kenosha's for keeping this all going.
