Subject: Mike Hall's Seevers data

Mike,

I am really impressed by your Seevers database and the work you've done trying to piece all of the families together. I know how difficult it is to do this well!

You make a pretty convincing case for Abraham and John being the sons of Conrad and Charity Seevers. Keep working at it, and you may find more convincing data.

As you may know, I've been working a long time on the descendants of Robert Seaver, who settled in Roxbury MA in 1634. It's been difficult to tie a lot of the 19th century families into Robert Seaver, and it gradually became obvious to me that there were several progenitors - including your Conrad/Abraham, the Valentine Sevier of VA, Jacob Sever(s) of VA/IN, the Norway line, etc. Your database solves quite a few of my "unknown ancestry" label on many families, especially in Indiana, Ohio, etc. These folks kept moving west...making it difficult to figure them out.

Good luck -- Randy
