hi there once again thank you for contacting me,the name i have is Richard f.White, the name i was given was Dick, so im presuming that stood for richard, and the surname is a strong possibility. he was in the infantry, but attatched to the air force which has lead me to 82nd airborne,it has been like looking for a needle in a haystack, thanks for your help,glenys
