In reply to: Euripedes 's message, "Malussinn>>" on 11:39:34 01/19/03 Sun

The bronc gazed upon the gathering from some distance away, his sharply tuned flutes taking in the slightest articulation whether it be a mere whisper, or a rumbling rant. Sternly the gaze of the lone observer came upon the ebony King. No loyalties held him to the weak light-lover but blood, and only half-blood at best. Vocalizing a slight snort of vexation, the dark form broke the stance that had been taken by the side of the valley, quickly carrying the turbulent spirit towards the younger brother.

"Fool."

He muttered such things softly, under the breath that left not an inch from his side unbidden. It would do himself, nor the King, to hear such pessimistic utterings. After all, it wasn't as if the throne was the worst thing the younger stallion could lose, it wasn't as if his life depended on such a trivial honor. His own charcoal banner whipped in the wind as he passed the slave of the traitorous Frozen Dreams, a few stray hairs brushing lightly, if accidentally, against her flank before moving on. Halting some feet before Malussinn, he released a sharp whicker that called for acknowledgement before stating his greetings.

"Hello, Malussinn. You appear to have gotten yourself into quite a dilemma."

The piercing gaze of the stallion wavered to include momentarily the exiting arrogant and the blind snow-hued stallions. A very slight smile flickered in his steady glance. Then it returned fully to the younger brother, the adored younger brother...? Perhaps, and perhaps not, though he certainly had never been the obligated pest. Maybe that was why Thunderwave now stood here, offering his aid to the King instead of to Frozen Dreams and partaking in the mutiny; he couldn't let his brother down now, could he?

"I thought you might be needing some assistance, but it appears that you already have enough aid in the area of advice...?"

Malussinn nodded with each name given, his contemplating eyes following the direction of the vocalization as the two speak in turn. His gaze paused upon Syndic, narrowing slightly as he noticed a peculiarity of the stallion that had not been clearly apparent to him before. "Thank you, Jinrai, Syndic." About to say more, his attention is caught by the dark stain against the horizon as the blood-bay gallops to them, seemingly eager to join the conversation. An emotion that might be even relief tints his eyes as he recognizes the stallion.

"Ah, Thunderwave." He greeted the new arrival politely and even warmly, his muzzle reaching to briefly touch against the other's dial. Quickly he guessed the meaning of the question, and turned to introduce the two to his brother. "Jinrai, Syndic, this is Thunderwave." Declining to mention the unclear relationship they shared, as it was - to his knowledge - not widely known and the brothers had never cared to emphasize it; he merely gave the required name.

"I take it you've heard of this mutiny, Thunderwave?" He asked wryly, his head tilted a degree to one side as he watched his brother inquiringly.
