Malussinn nodded with each name given, his contemplating eyes following the direction of the vocalization as the two speak in turn. His gaze paused upon Syndic, narrowing slightly as he noticed a peculiarity of the stallion that had not been clearly apparent to him before. "Thank you, Jinrai, Syndic." About to say more, his attention is caught by the dark stain against the horizon as the blood-bay gallops to them, seemingly eager to join the conversation. An emotion that might be even relief tints his eyes as he recognizes the stallion.

"Ah, Thunderwave." He greeted the new arrival politely and even warmly, his muzzle reaching to briefly touch against the other's dial. Quickly he guessed the meaning of the question, and turned to introduce the two to his brother. "Jinrai, Syndic, this is Thunderwave." Declining to mention the unclear relationship they shared, as it was - to his knowledge - not widely known and the brothers had never cared to emphasize it; he merely gave the required name.

"I take it you've heard of this mutiny, Thunderwave?" He asked wryly, his head tilted a degree to one side as he watched his brother inquiringly.

and another. he had hear this one approach however, and the action had not been so immediate or brisk. the sightless stallion had had time to register the crunchings of snow beneath the hooves, he'd caught the scent and the hint of a voice on the wind. as his name was spoken he tipped his mug again, respectfully, if reservedly, in what he was near positive was the right direction. so as not to submit any of the others to a prlonged dose of his rather unsettling stare he turned his face forward again, blonding locks ruffeld in announcement of their disapproval before settling themselves once more against his neck. the breeze shifted as once again the word utiny rose to the conversation. with angst and a knot in his stomach another verse rose to his lips, though they remained fixed in a terse line his head spun with the simple of efforts. but his head turned slightly, and, defting all possible logic, the pupilless milky blue obs of the niveous stallion fell exactly into place with the occulars of the King. and though for his manner it was clear that Syndic could no more see than he had been able to moments before his ooids gleamed with locked emotion. it was not long before he interrupted, forcing his voice once more into the conversation. a different voice this time. more strained. less quiet, but no less meticulous for the increase in volume.

Pour ne vouloir consentir au diuorce,
Qui puis apres sera cogneu indigne:
Le Roy des isles sera chass‚ par sorte,
Mais … son lieu qui de roy n'aura signe.

for once he was glad he would be unable to perceive the responses upon the listening pallets of those that stood about him. he shifted his weight languidly and chided himself for such a thought. it would have been worth it. to see, even for such a small amount of time as to gather the reactions of the small gathering of equines. he did, however, recognise that soon to follow would be the silence and the frowns, the confusion. and so, with a sigh he spoke again, his tone ever wuieter to compensate for his outburst. he grudginly, almost sheepishly repeated the sequence of lines.

For not wishing to consent to the divorce,
Which then afterwards will be recognised as unworthy:
The King of the Isles will be driven out by force,
In his place put one who will have no mark of a king.

the bitterness of the words caused him to grimace, and, as he relaxed the position of his boa the lactescent mascu's occulis dropped from their maintained position and resumed his usual irrelevant point of gaze.
