[OOC- *Thoughtful* I guess Thunderwave could be in two places at once...]
So very similar it was to another he could well remember. A soft sigh puncuated that thought, and he peered up and into the branches of the tree on which his thoughts had been circulating for the last half hour or so... once or twice he had even been tempted to speak to it. After all, it was a living creature, even if it had no tongue with which to speak, and no proven mind. If a horse stood silent, and unresponsive for a week or more - wasn't it still a living, breathing, and thinking creature?
He grimaced; some thoughts had too many pathways to sour memories. His fingers flexed, and he brought the hand to his face, watching it with little real interest. The blood bay brute had transformed himself human after only an hour of disturbing contemplation. Somehow he felt stronger, more confident as a man than as a stallion. A strange thing indeed for the warhorse, the brutal steed who had arrived years ago in Cascade Mountains with only thoughts of survival on his limited mind.
Limited... perhaps that had been better. But unfortunately, a couple of mares had changed that line of thinking for both him and his brother. One of the mares being his own mate, Nia. Pain creased his lips, his eyes closing as if to ward off the incoming regrets and hopeless queries. Oh how he missed her! He had left only after it seemed she would never return. And now he had returned hoping to find her again, to speak to her again....
But hadn't he? His breathing paused and almost stopped completely as he looked back over the timeline of an hour or more. So completely wrapped up in that filly's troubles, he had forgotten his own. Now he looked up, his gold-flecked eyes darting anxiously around as he searched for her slender form.
[OOC- I would continue, but I REALLY have to go to bed now. Later, 'night.]
