A grimace crosses her delicate features, and she closes her eyes briefly. "I'm not a very good mother in that respect. I should probably go looking for him. Yet, he's a bright one, and at that age I was already being pushed into exploring by myself, alone for sometimes days on end. I... I'm still not used to the differences between Cascade Mountains and my old home."
