^Rumpled hide was feathered by the breeze that washed over the terra. If it had been any other light, a harsh shudder would have resulted. Yet, the sphinx lay still as before, the breezes comforting. In this 'dead' state, she had a moment to reflect upon her current predicament. It was quite confusing here, in the least. There was the terror of expected abuse, accompanied by a sort of comfort brought on by the unthreatening treatment she had recieved. It seemed that there was no want of slavery here-in. Yet what was she to do with herself then? If she ran away, who would stop her? The light side was so near...but so foriegn. She had adopted a fear of her own kind, from where it stemmed, she did not know. THe flickering though of becoming neautral came.No. Neautrals were cowards. Jinrai was no coward, she couldn't have been to survive all this. Then there was this stallion, who had taken her on. He was different then those who came before him, but how? She knew something didn't add up...but what? She drifted further, far enough for dreams to overtake her. Nightmares they were to the fae...nightmares...^

^*Jin...Jin...* The voice was close...yet so far away. Her legs were stuck, but she was running. There. A mare. Silver colored. The calling continued from all around. The greenery, lit brighter by the sun...The cold sun. The mare stood still in front of her. She came not closer, nor further away. *Jin...Jin...*^

^The dreams raged on, Jinrai trembled. Shivering, though nothing was cold.^

Frozen Dreams

A frown transformed his eloquent features, as he watched her slumber. subconsciously he took a step forward, and then another, curiosity overtaking him.
As he neared, auds perked intently and eyes fixed on the trembling figure, he stepped between her and the breeze, thinking perhaps it was the source of her discomfort. Whic brought a million thoughts dancing around his psyche. she's a slave, dolt. you don't need to comfort her. was one. another being why are you comforting her in the first place. what in the world is come over you Frozen Dreams. where's your pride? Gone. his arrogance had been dealt a cripplin wound with the last fight he partook in. nevertheless he stepped to one side, inspecting the other's troubled countenance. he couldn't for the life of him think what was the matter. the moment of insight he'd had before had fizzled away. in reality he knew nothing of emotion. and was totally and completely clueless in face of this latest event.

Dreams never fade, but evolve in the frigidity of solitude
