Frozen Dreams

The arrogant stallion was more than a little irked by her lack of response and expressed this with a snort and the shifting of his bulk around his three stationary feet. the fourth one remained poised above the ground. he would have walked away but, proud as he was, the comical shuffling dance the instability of three feet caused him was more comical than not. and he hated to be belittle, especially on first meetings. so he stayed standing, firey gaze fiexed on the mare, tail swishin against his hide, with a little more energy as he found the outlet for his angst.

The dark-eyed mare repressed a derisive snort as she watched his discomfort unfold like the pages of a book. Really, this was too easy to be fun. Skylar liked her social challenges on the impossible side of difficult.

"I'm Skylar," she remarked with a lazy smile, and left it at that. To instigate prolonged conversation was like digging oneself into a hole with particularly slippery sides.
