Subject: some questions about "chosen"(mostly buffy/spike related)

hey guys, well i have picked up the pieces of my heart, dried my eyes, and things are o.k. now for some questions

1)how did spike get to the school during the day?

2)when buffy tells spike she loves him does she really or was she just saying it because he was dying like he thought?
i think she really did but want others opinions.

3)how is spike going to be on angel? him burning up-sniff- it just doesnt seem possible.

4)why wasnt spike and anya's death appreciated..they just went on to talk about starbucks and toys r us.

5)what was Buffy thinking when she smiled at the end?

6)who do you think the spin-off will be about? the finale sure left a lot of possible scenarios.

7)what did everyone like about the episode?
I liked the whole thing except for spike and anya dying but i guess it had to be done. i liked how giles said the same thing he said in the Harvest from season 1 and how there were moments with the core four.

Here are my humble opinions to your questions.

1. I don't have a clue. I need to go back and re-watch that part. Maybe I missed something.

2. I think that Buffy does love him and Spike didn't believe her because of the circumstances surrounding her saying it. She should have said it the night before when they were alone. Then he would have believed her.

3.My personal opinion, which many will disagree with, is that the PTB will grant him humanity. The main reason I think this is that I can't see a show that is about a vamp with a soul having two vamps a soul on it.

4. I did have problems with. When Buffy died Spike was the first to break down. Some grief on Buffy and Xander's parts would have been nice.

5. With the weight of the world off of her shoulders she is now free to be a "normal girl".

6..The possibilities are endless. There is reference at the end that there are slayers all over the world and that they need to be found. That is a possible scenario. I said in an earlier thread with so many slayers there could be a training school for them, or they could just move to Cleveland.

7. I loved it. I couldn't believe how quickly that hour went by. No, it didn't wrap everything up in a nice, neat little box, but I think that was JW's intention. He doesn't want everything answered.

For seven years this was the best ride one could... alone.

someone on the other board posted about spike's sacrafice and buffy saying i love you and it all makes sense...she truly did and he knew it. what he said was a way of saying i love you back, but he wanted her to move on

I'm not touching that one with a 10-foot pole. I think it's up to each person to figure that one out for themselves.

Well Darla died on Season 1 of Buffy and pop she was back on Angel for 3 years, so I wouldn't count him out just cuz he went fizzle-poof

Personally I get their reaction. It was all just too much at the moment. And I think xander was just doing what he always does, covering up pain with humor and pride.

Could be anyone. If a slayer I say either Faith or Vi. Love them both.

I liked it all, save the angsty beginning bits. Pretty much everything in the second act on.

The Very reason Dawn & Xander Took One Hall
& Anya & Andrew took another as well as Robin & Giles was so the Turok Kahn wouldn't make it to the sewer access which Robin pointed out remember they were'nt trying to run out the front door so i think that is how spike got there

2. When Buffy Tells Spike she loved him did she really mean it ? I really couldn't tell it was just to hard to read the true intention of that moment for me.

3. How will Spike be on Angel? I Have no clue to that either but i think he will ememrge from the rubble of sunnydale completely purified of evil and will no longer be a vampire. But it's a stretch.

4. Why wasn't more made over the death of Anya and Spike? Truly i beleive it was only a Time Issue and grieving is a time consuming thing and a Sad Note to End A Series on.

5. What was Buffy Thinking when she smiled at the end ?

Victory over the first i believe but also that she finally is a free to live her life.

6. Who do i think a spin-off will be about? Not sure about this either but i bet it will have to do with a group traveling around Filling the un-expecting Slayers about their legacy.

7.What did everyone like about the episode ? I'll give you names Buffy, Dawn, Spike, Vi, Kennedy,. Everything else was very good too. But these things stood out for me

Having watched the scene numerous times on slo-mo, it is clear that Spike had his coat pulled up over his head as they were outside the school walking in. He lowers the coat fairly quickly during the first head-on scene in the school. He is on the far right of the scene.
