To the Wounded:
......I have seen the self image they've forced you to reduce to shattered glass, with the only remaining value lying in it's jagged edges. But the few who warrant waking for await their recognition. No fear of death but with fear of life, your weakness kills everyone. So live. Angels for everyone. For no lack of searching I can't seem to find one. Angels in everyone. What of all their promises? Can't seem to find much more than lies. Angels in anyone. A permanent solution to a temporary problem. Before I'd lay me down to rest, I'd throw away everything to live.

aerial could do nothing to stop the emotions that battled within her. it took all of her self-control to fight back the urges to retort angerily to x's words. but it was his choice, and she admantly refused to allow herself to continue pressuring him. her gaze met vague's with sympathy, and she nodded her agreement.

"no, it's not right..."

but evidently x did not care, and would do nothing to change that. fine, let him do what he wishes. and still aerial could not shake the sorrow she'd seen in vague's eyes from her mind. she lost her horn... aerial couldn't begin to imagine how much that must have hurt her. but she'd never been a unicorn, so how could she empathize? well, x has made his position clear, and though i do not agree, i will accept it.

"farewell then x, vague."

her mug tipped towards the ground, in a respectful greeting to both, before she began to move away. as she moved past vague, she paused for a single second, her ebony muzzle brushing the other's shoulder.

"i'm sorry vague, for losing your horn. trust me when i say, if i could give it back to you, i would do it in a second..."

the words were nothing but a whisper, meant only for vague to hear. and suddenly an idea began to form in aerial's mind. with a slight smile twitching in her eyes, she moved off, on to the next lands. there is much to do, and so little time.
