Silently, heavily he breathes, whuffing softly at the welcome warmth of his adored daughter's form. Blearily one eye opens, gazing up at the blurs above, then closes again. The voice of a good friend, an acquaintance, and his grown daughter make their way through the fog of his mind and he is happy in his faint consciousness, needing only, as Malussinn said, some rest.
